K20CETC Projects > Extending Shared Functionality
- Overall Goals:
-
To facilitate partnerships that create efficiencies, enhance effectiveness, or hold great promise for creating
new discoveries that demonstrate effective, innovative, network-enabled approaches to teaching and learning.
To provide all faculty/teachers and students across the state with access to a thin layer of technology
services (such as access to learning management systems), technical support, and professional development
opportunities required to actively participate in online teaching/learning.
- Objectives:
-
- To enhance resources and services (beyond networking) to support online teaching/learning (such as securing a
Moodle server that will host online courses for use by educators across the state and potentially negotiating a statewide
license with BlackBoard).
- To ensure that all students, teachers, and staff have access to technology resources/tools required to teach/learn with technology.
- To leverage innovative efforts and expertise that exist within each segment so that more may benefit.
